In this interview, we sit down with Tommaso Ricciardi, Account Manager at Air Partner, to talk about his role in the private aviation world, the industries he serves, and his passion for exceptional service.
Tell us about your role at Air Partner.
As an Account Manager I am responsible for managing the requests of different clients, ensuring that every aspect of the flight is organised to fully meet their needs. I assist them in choosing the most suitable jet and follow them through every step of the process, from first contact to landing, ensuring a careful and impeccable service.
What key industries do you serve?
Our clients come from a wide range of industries, including top executives from large international companies, artists travelling to their concerts and individuals who choose to travel to reach their holiday destinations.
How long have you worked in private aviation?
I have been working in the aviation sector for just over a year and, so far, it has been an exciting experience that has allowed me to learn a lot. I am convinced that this is just the beginning of a journey full of opportunities!
What inspired you to work in the aviation sector?
Aviation has always fascinated me because it represents an extraordinary means of connecting people, cultures and distant, sometimes remote, places in incredibly short times. This sector combines innovation, dynamism and the possibility of creating unique experiences for those who travel.
What is your favourite aircraft and why?
My favourite aircraft is the Embraer Praetor 600. It is a Super Mid Size Jet, perfect for carrying 6 to 7 passengers. With a range of about 7 hours, it is ideal for routes such as Milan-Dubai or London-New York, without having to opt for a Heavy Jet, while maintaining the same level of comfort.

This small gesture allowed us to convey our support to the customer, creating a more personal experience.
What advice do you have for companies that want to charter a private jet?
My advice for companies that want to charter a private jet is to rely on expert partners able to offer customised solutions and guarantee safety, quality of service and punctuality. In a context where schedules are always packed, flexibility is key: choosing a partner capable of quickly adapting to needs and last-minute changes is essential to optimise time and resources.
Tell us about your first charter flight / the most special charter flight.
One of the most exciting flights I have organised was this summer for an artist with concerts in two different cities, just one day apart. Managing such a tight schedule was an exciting challenge, but also an opportunity to showcase our flexibility and precision. Accompanying the artist and their team in such a hectic period, ensuring that every detail was taken care of to perfection, was a rewarding experience.
