A global collection of one of a kind luxury hotels, resorts and residences, each inspired by a Sense of Place® philosophy to reflect the local culture and spirit of a destination; The Rosewood collection includes some of the world’s most legendary hotels and resorts, including The Carlyle, New York and Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek® in Dallas, Texas. In the heart of this global community of hotels is the Rosewood’s European collection, currently comprised of Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Rosewood London and Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, Paris. Each hotel is unique in its own way whether you’re looking for a hideaway in the Tuscan hills, a chic retreat in the French capital or a vibrant English manor house stay in the heart of London. For those looking for additional space in which to relax or work, the three hotels offer a variety of suites and villas, each as unique as the properties themselves.
Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco
Located within the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia Natural Park, in the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino wine-making region, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco is a 5,000-acre country estate founded by Massimo and Chiara Ferragamo.
The 800-year-old estate comprises the ancient castle ruins, a medieval church, and the Borgo, a historic village that now forms the heart of the resort with the 42 suites that exude a rich sense
of authenticity with heritage features, antique furnishings, local textiles and artisanal accessories. In addition, 11 one-of-a-kind luxury villas dot the landscape, each created from restored 17th- and
18th-century Tuscan farmhouses. These private homes provide luxurious lodging and feature heated pools, terraces, pergolas and gardens - all framed by the unmatched natural beauty of the Tuscan countryside. Fashioned from centuries-old farmhouses and estate buildings, the beautifully transformed villas are set throughout a 5,000-acre estate and offer up to 6 bedrooms.
Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco is a unique combination: it’s an elegant home away from home in a pristine swathe of rural Tuscany, and a superb culinary destination. A living community, it is dedicated to the celebration of authentic local delights, with two restaurants, a cooking school, an organic kitchen garden and a pampering Spa, plus a wide range of sport and fitness facilities and outdoor activities. The estate also embraces a historic Brunello di Montalcino winery and the members-only The Club, a magnificent private 18-hole golf course and clubhouse.
Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel
An illustrious landmark overlooking the Place de la Concorde, Hôtel de Crillon, is a timeless celebration of the spirit of Paris and French art de vivre. Located between the Seine river and Opera Garnier, right next to Jardin des Tuileries, but also on the corner with Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré surrounded by the most prestigious boutiques. Hôtel de Crillon’s rooms and suites embody an expressly Parisian residential style that is equally warm and refined.
From Grands Appartements designed by Karl Lagerfeld to residential styled rooms, Rosewood’s Paris accommodations offer an incomparable atmosphere of contemporary sophistication that respects the landmark’s 18th-century heritage. The rooms and suites are elegantly decorated with a mix of bespoke furnishings, beautiful antiques and carefully chosen objets d’art that underscore exceptional attention to detail.
Rosewood London
Rosewood London is one of the finest five-star hotels in the UK’s capital. Blending English heritage with contemporary sophistication, the Edwardian Grade II-listed building has been sensitively renovated to create a luxury hotel with the ambience of a stylish London residence.
Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel is ideally located whether you’re in town for leisure or business. The bright lights of Theatreland and a range of upmarket boutiques, from the energetic bustle of Covent Garden to the understated chic of Lamb’s Conduit, are a stone’s throw away whilst the English Opera, Royal Opera House and Royal Ballet are nearby neighbours. Combining English heritage with contemporary sophistication, retained Belle Époque architectural features include the original carriageway entrance to the grand inner courtyard and a spectacular Pavonazzo marble staircase which rises over seven storeys. The hotel has the feel of a stylish London residence and houses 263 guestrooms and 45 suites including ten spectacular signature suites, one of which is the Manor House. Located in a private wing of the hotel, this suite consists of six bedrooms, a private entrance and its very own postcode.
All accommodation has been designed by Tony Chi and Associates, who also created the interiors of the public areas including the Mirror Room, the hotel’s elegant social dining salon serving a contemporary menu of refined cuisine. The Martin Brudnizki designed Scarfes Bar offers delicious drawing-room conviviality, gentleman’s club sophistication and a creative cocktail menu give true meaning to the phrase ‘get scarfed’ at Gerald’s eponymous bar – replete with a roaring fire and shelves filled with over 1,000 antique books. Meanwhile, the hotel’s main restaurant, Holborn Dining Room is a grand brasserie serving seasonal, locally sourced British cuisine with a twist. This vibrantly bustling dining salon is ideal for a convivial meal with friends, a spontaneous pint of local lager and one of Executive Chef Calum Franklin’s famed pies, or a selection of crustacea and charcuterie paired with wine. Holborn Dining Room is also home to the largest gin bar in London offering connoisseurs the chance to browse the menu of almost 500 gins from around the world.
