Offering the ability to fly ultra-long-range in the industry's largest cabin and at the lowest cabin altitude, the new G700 business jet feels like a luxury hotel in the sky. Inside, there are five separate living areas, including a master suite with a double bed, a lounge spacious enough for yoga, and a dining room.
Powered by the cutting-edge Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, the G700 is designed for serious long-distance travel. It can handle nonstop flights between major cities like London, Doha, New York, and Hong Kong. Plus, it’s fast – able to hit a maximum speed of Mach 0.925, or 92% of the speed of sound – making it the fastest Gulfstream jet yet.
Trevor Esling, vice-president commercial for Qatar Executive, which has incorporated the aircraft into its fleet, says: “As the first commercial operator of the G700, Qatar Executive raises the bar for ultra-long-range jets. The G700 offers unmatched range, comfort, and the latest tech innovations, including better fuel efficiency, reduced noise, and lower emissions, which are redefining luxury air travel.
“With a range of 7,750 nautical miles, the G700 allows nonstop flights between global hubs, perfect for high-profile clients who value privacy and efficiency. Its spacious cabin, luxurious interiors, and advanced features – like cutting-edge safety systems and high-speed wifi – combined with top-tier service, make it the ultimate choice for Air Partner’s discerning clients.”
Living the High-Life
With room for 16 to 19 passengers, the sleek G700 is a stretched version of the G650, featuring ten large, oval windows on each side for spectacular views. Inside, there’s a long galley for food and drinks, a dedicated crew rest area, and the option to install a shower (the cabin is fully customizable). The dining room also doubles as a conference space, and the handcrafted seats convert into ergonomic beds, so up to 13 people can sleep comfortably. In terms of storage, there’s room for 15 suitcases and 15 carry-on bags.
To help combat jetlag, the G700 features a circadian lighting system that mimics the sunlight patterns of the destination time zone. On top of that, passengers enjoy 100% fresh, plasma-ionized air refreshed every two to three minutes, along with a low cabin altitude (reduced to 2,840 feet when cruising at 41,000 feet).
Technical excellence as standard
For those looking to work, staying connected is easy, thanks to Jet ConneX Ka-band wifi, which provides fast and reliable coverage for working or streaming, plus wireless charging pads to keep devices powered up.
The advanced tech extends to the cockpit, too. The Symmetry Flight Deck comes equipped with active control sidesticks and a predictive landing performance system that improves safety, efficiency, and the pilot’s overall experience.
The Ultimate Ultra-Long-Range Jet
Overall, the G700 combines exceptional range, speed, cabin size, and high-end amenities, making it a major player in the ultra-long-range jet category – perfect for clients who demand the best in both performance and luxury. Its advanced aerodynamics and next-gen engines also boost fuel efficiency and cut emissions.
