Menorca, Spain
The Balearics, but without the crowds, is the promise of Menorca. This could have been the second stop on an Experimental Group safari as they have a beautiful hotel here too – the Menorca Experimental, a 19th-century finca set on 30 hectares of land that opened just before the pandemic.
You will be spoilt for choice between there and the also wonderful Cugó Gran Menorca – a 12-room property with beautifully landscaped gardens. Art lovers will be thrilled to discover and visit the Hauser & Wirth galleries and sculpture trail on Illa del Rei Island in Mahon harbor.

Mykonos, Greece
Such a beautiful island despite some highly saturated spots, Mykonos is our final stop, and we suggest the 5-star Santa Marina – not the newest, but the only hotel on Mykonos with its own private sandy beach and offering the choice of stunning suites or beautiful villas for those seeking more space and privacy.
